- Which poster do you think best accomplishes the task of inform, educate, influence?
- Explain why.
- Respond in your journal.

- Studio time/ project work. Note- separate tasks for video groups vs poster groups! Read carefully!
- Videographers must create a story board.
- Choose one of these story board worksheets.
- Print it to Lab A printer, then fill it out!

Lessons 7-10
Art Start
- Open your Penzu journal.
- We learned about the following principles of design:
- Repetition
- Allignment
- Proximity
- Do a google images search of "cool sports shoes advertisements".
- Choose an advertisement, such as that shown below, and paste it in your journal
- Describe which of the 3 principles of design above is used well in the ad and how it helps to influence behavior (to buy)
- Respond in your journal in two to three sentences.
Lesson Activities:
- We have reviewed the various project choices.
- Each Project page has been updated, so please take a look at the steps outlined on the page as you begin work on your project!
- Yesterday your proposals were due to me (thank you those of you who turned them in) Still waiting on a couple.
- Now it's time to make progress with planning and taking action:
- Video projects -
- make a detailed story board showing each shot you will take to make up each scene in your video.
- Then, take an imovie tutorial - these are online.
- Game Designers -
- write a detailed story outline in which you plan out all aspects of the game.
- Spend some time getting to know the game designing application.
- Photography groups -
- first, complete the outline for your project by following the link provided on the project link to the right.
- Then begin to gather resources for the words and pictures you will combine in your final project. Remember, this must be original or copyright free photography. You can't just take other people's work off the internet!
- Web Designers and Youtube channel creators -
- decide on your theme
- spend some time learning how to create within the website. How can you personalize your site so that it says something about you and your topic?
