Art Start

2. Open class website and Penzu
3. Penzu Post - Respond to one of the following prompts:
1. What's your favorite clothing brand logo and why?
2. Which brand of pop do you think has the most effective can design and why?
3. Which sports team has the coolest mascot. why?
4. Describe a local store or business sign you see on your way home from school or when you do errands with your family. Why do you think it sticks in your head?
5. Which two colors would you use in an advertisement for a fast food restaurant? Explain why.

 

Lesson 11-12

  Art Start

2. Open class website and Penzu
3. Penzu Post - Respond to one of the following prompts:

1.  Consider the job of a graphic designer: to inform, educate and influence behavior. Hmmm, sounds like a couple of other professions I can think of. Can you think of other jobs where informing, educating and changing behavior is a major goal. How about Doctors, Public Safety Officers, Teachers, Psychiatrists, Therapists, Nutritionists, Social Workers, Physical Therapists, Personal Trainers, Lawyers, Judges, Firemen, Architects, School Principals, Elder care-givers, Coaches, tax preparer, college professor, and many others. 

2.  Choose a profession listed above, or one you think of yourself and explain why it is important to inform, educate and influence behavior through that job. Is this a job you could see yourself doing? Why or why not?





Lesson 11-12

Art Start 

Log onto the computer. Open class website and Penzu Penzu Post - Respond to one of the following prompts:
 1. PSA's or Public Service Announcements can help change the world, so can Random Acts of Kindness.
What could you say in 30 seconds that would brighten someone's day? What images could cheer someone up? Make a list of 3 things you could say and 3 images you could share.

2. If you were hired to create a video to inform, educate and change behavior for teens, what issue would you choose? Explain why.

3.  Describe a Random Act of Kindness in which you have been engaged this week. If you haven't yet participated, describe something kind you will do today.

4. List 13 Random Acts of Kindness which you could do on your 13th birthday. Already 13? List 14!
